Cooking Classes

Since our store opened in August 2005, we’ve had many requests for cooking classes. Although not chefs, just home cooks who love food, we’ve dispensed practical cooking advice and recipes so much so, that we’ve been asked to do these easy-to-follow classes.

Unfortunately, the delay has been in finding a venue as we wanted to conduct our classes the way we were taught to cook. That is by demonstration immediately followed by a practical session.

As such, we require venues where there are several cooking stations ( a single station for 1 or 2 people) – much like a formal cooking school. This is especially important for Asian cooking which relies on timing, order of ingredients and lots of handy hints to avoid stuff-ups! Believe us, we’ve done them all.

Sadly, we have been unable to offer classes as yet but are close to solving our dilemma. So, for  the time being if you are interested in classes, please fill in our contact form (under Contact Us) and list cooking classes. We will keep you on our list and email as soon as the first dates and themes are finalised.
